Iglite peak (1787 m) is located in the Πaмпopoвo region. It measures the cleanest air on the Balkan Peninsula, with the highest concentration of negative ions. From the top there is a spectacular view of Smolyan, the Smolyan lakes and the surrounding countryside.
The route to Mount Iglite started just below Mount Snežanĸa, near the panoramic Πepeliĸa Plateau. GPS for the start at eĸoпътeĸaтa (41.63519, 24.678663). Follow the red map. Pass an abandoned van. The hike then goes through the forest. The hike takes about 20 minutes and is suitable for all ages.
Watch your step because it is quite steep at the top in places.
