At the end of February 2021, it is expected that the “Rudozem – Xanthi” BCP will be completed, through which all types of traffic are planned to pass. This will be of great benefit for the improvement of the Rhodope region, as well as the development of trade, business and tourism in the whole district. The new infrastructural improvement will shorten the journey to Greece by a whole hour – it will take only 1.5 hours to reach the Greek sea.
