Rome bridge – “Malka Arda” Village

Several bridges have been built over the river Malka Arda. One of them is the Roman Bridge, which is very well preserved nowadays and is still used by pedestrians over the river. It is located at the end of the village of Malka Arda towards the municipal centre of Banite. In this part of the Rhodopes there are many preserved architectural and historical values of this type, each of them carrying many stories and myths with them.
